So another month has flown by and we are now over halfway through this year.
But this month I have news that is super exciting.
Marlon (Locksheath Back in Black) has been residing in the state of Kentucky in the USA, he went over in March 2020 for what was supposed to be a short trip but then Covid-19 hit and he is still there today. On the plus side of his extended visit is that the dog shows have been ongoing and with the shows on his US carers Rhonda, Brooke and AJ travelled across many states to attend the available shows, we were kept up to date with reports on how he had been placed by Silvia his owner and on the 23rd May2021, we received and passed the news we were waiting on.
The final points he needed were awarded to Marlon (subject to the American Kennel Club confirmation) at the Blennerhassett Kennel Club show it was great to receive this confirmation when we received a copy of the certificate on the 2nd July, and we can now say it is official. Marlon has his title and will now be known as
Am Ch Locksheath Back in Black. As his breeder and Co-owner we could not be more pleased, this is just so exciting and rewarding for us and we are very very proud of this achievement.
Marlon is still on his travels in the US and is currently in training for the field but hopefully he will be able to travel and will be home in Germany in October. we cant wait to see him also.
So I am ending this post on a high and look forward to having some show updates for next month.
